March 31, 2009: The Second Executive Board tenures its resignation to the Legislative Association per Resolution 003.2 and the Shadow Executive Board assumes office immediately constituting the Third Executive Board

March 23-28, 2009: Professionals Week kicks off

March 8, 2009: An emergency Governors Council meeting is held to discuss the proposal by VP of Student Affairs Brian Rose, which would create a mandatory $25 Greek fee per semester for each student in a fraternity/sorority to pay for the cost of a Greek Life Director.

March 4, 2009: First ever meeting of the United Greek Council is held involving the leaders of all 7 Greek Councils. Among the topics discussed was how to strengthen and unite Greek Life on campus.

Feb 9, 2009: The PFC hosts its 3rd ever PFC United Rush Forum. Over 200 PFC members and over 100 prospective rushes come to the event in the Susquehanna room. Raffle prizes are given out, courtesy of Binghamton BUC$.

Feb 1, 2009: 1st meeting of the spring 2009 semester of the Governor’s Council and Legislative Association.

Dec 6, 2008: 2nd meeting of Fall Semester of the Governor’s Council is conducted. Ideas for Spring United Rush and sporting events are discussed and the Governors Council unanimously approves of moving forward with a week long of activities in the Spring from March 23-29 to promote professional fraternities.

Dec 5, 2008: DEM, APO, AKPsi are officially chartered under the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Affairs at BU

Dec 3, 2008: The 2009-2010 PFC eboard is elected:

President: Bobby Sayers (OT)

VP: Russell Salzman (DSP)

Secretary: Catherine Jungmin Kim (PAD)

Treasurer: Queenie Lin (DSP)

Events Coordinator: Samantha Greenberg (AKPsi)

The new e-board will start as a shadow e-board to the current executive board and take official office on March 31.

Nov 8, 2008: The PFC hosts its first annual Football Tournament. Theta Tau beats Phi Delta Epsilon in last second touchdown to win the award trophy.

Oct 31, 2008: Theta Tau brother Bobby Sayers wins PFC Halloween costume contest with more than a dozen people from the 8 fraternities participating.

Oct 29, 2008: The Legislative Association confirms the appointment of Gentiana Ame as Chief Magistrate of the PFC and confirms the appointment of Andrew Silverman as Administrative Magistrate of the PFC, both by unanimous votes.

Oct 2008: The Fraternity & Sorority Leadership Board of Greek Life official recogizes the Professional Fraternity Council as the 7th Council of Greek Life after submission and review of council by-laws.

April 2008:PFC e-board meets with the administation to develop timetable for PFC to be the 7th Council of Greek Life in the fall and to admit the 8 professional fraternities into Greek Life.

March 2008:PFC hosts first Philanthropy event called, “Cheap Chic Charity Boutique.” Used and unwanted clothing is donated by students to the PFC, which then puts out all the clothing on display for students to buy. $435 was raised for from the event to be sent to a Battered Womens Shelter and 15 boxes of leftover clothing is donated to the Salvation Army.

Feb 2008: PFC hosts its first United Rush Forum. Over 200 members and prospective rushes would attend the event despite the snowstorm.

Fall 2007: The PFC E-board meets with fraternity presidents to discuss a possible entry into Greek Life. Drafting of documents to petition into Greek Life begins, followed by more than two dozen meetings with the SA e-board, Campus Life Director David Hagerbaumer, Greek Life Director Jack Casseaux and VP Student Affairs Brian Rose.

Fall 2007: Alpha Kappa Psi (business) and Alpha Omega Epsilon (engineering) joined the PFC.
Spring 2007: Delta Epsilon Mu (pre-health), joined the PFC upon completion of their school and national charter.

Oct 2006: PFC hosts its first annual Halloween Festivities

Fall 2003:The Professional Fraternity Council first consists of Phi Alpha Delta (pre-law), Alpha Phi Omega (community service), Delta Sigma Pi (business), Theta Tau (engineering), and Phi Delta Epsilon (pre-med). The PFC Council is chartered under the Student Association along with other professional fraternities.
