PFC Chief Magistrate: Andrew Silverman (Alpha Kappa Psi)

The Chief Magistrate of the Professional Fraternity Council is responsible for investigating any and all questions, complaints, or concerns brought to its attention. Such complaints include any allegation/compliant of impropriety on the part of an associated professional fraternity/sorority or member of the PFC and/or allegation/compliant of hazing, illegal activity, or violation of University/PFC regulations. He/She is afterward tasked with presenting his/her findings to the Governors Council and recommending if necessary for sanctions to be imposed. Under certain circumstance, the Chief Magistrate is tasked with advocating to the Fraternity/Sorority Advisor of the office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs where appropriate and/or necessary, for the Professional Fraternity Council to have exclusive jurisdiction to investigate and impose sanctions for reported violations. The Chief Magistrate is also responsible for interpreting and enforcing all rules and regulations of the PFC and Binghamton University on matters regarding rush and pledging.
